Airmax Winterization Cap

The Winterization Cap is designed to protect pond and lake aeration system airlines when the compressor and cabinet are removed for winter storage. Sealing open airline connections helps prevent dirt, insects, moisture, and debris from entering the line while the system is offline.

Winterizing aeration systems is often done to avoid unsafe thin ice conditions or frozen condensation inside airlines. These caps install easily once airlines are disconnected from the compressor flex tubes, keeping the system clean and ready for spring start-up.

• Post-2022 PS10, PS20, PS40: Optional camlock hose connections recommended if winterization is planned.
• PS60, LS80, LS120: Do not require winterization caps due to compressor removal design.

PRO TIP

Before installing winterization caps, briefly blow out the airline with compressed air to remove condensation. This helps prevent moisture from freezing inside the line during winter storage.
