We Verify the Match
We check that the product is identical, in stock, new, eligible, and sold by an authorized Canadian retailer.
We Adjust the Price
If approved, we can adjust the price before checkout or issue a partial refund after your order has been placed.
What Must Match
To qualify for a price match, the competing offer must be a true like-for-like comparison.
Product Requirements
- Same brand, model, size, and item number
- New condition only
- Original packaging
- Same manufacturer warranty
- Currently in stock and available to purchase
Retailer Requirements
- Canadian retailer
- Licensed brick-and-mortar or e-commerce store
- Publicly advertised price
- Final price must include shipping, freight, and handling where applicable
- No auction, marketplace, or affiliate-only listings
Important: Items shipped “freight free” or with separate freight charges may need to be compared manually. If a competitor shows a lower product price but adds shipping or handling during checkout, we evaluate the final comparable cost.
Exclusions
Some exclusions apply to keep the policy fair and sustainable.
- Promotions, rebates, coupons, and free-with-purchase offers do not qualify.
- Competitor clearance pricing is excluded.
- Auction sites, affiliate platforms, and marketplace listings are excluded.
- Special order items are excluded.
- Perishable items, live fish, and live plants are excluded.
- The item must be identical and sold in new condition.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities for price-matched items.
- We reserve the right to deny requests where the advertised price is below our cost of acquisition.
- Price Match cannot be combined with other MyPond offers.
- Temporary excluded brands may apply.
