Feeding Information

  • Frequency: feed two or four times daily; smaller, more frequent feedings are better
  • Amount: offer only what fish consume within about one minute
  • Temperature: below 50 °F reduce amount; above 86 °F reduce based on activity
  • Post-Feed: remove uneaten food to prevent water quality issues
