Liquid Rubber Geo-Textile is a strong stitch-bonded polyester reinforcement fabric used with Liquid Rubber waterproof coatings. It helps bridge gaps, cracks, joints, seams, vents, skylights, and other detail areas that need extra strength before coating.
This material is commonly used as part of a 3-course waterproofing method. Once embedded into a wet Liquid Rubber coating and coated over again, it reinforces weak points where movement, seams, or transitions may create a risk of leaks.
Why Choose Liquid Rubber Geo-Textile?
-
Seam Reinforcement: Helps strengthen joints, seams, cracks, gaps, vents, skylights, and other detail areas.
-
Strong Polyester Fabric: Made from stitch-bonded polyester for reliable reinforcement in coating systems.
-
Waterproofing Support: Designed to be used with Liquid Rubber waterproof coatings.
-
Flexible Application: Can be cut to size for roof details, transitions, and repair areas.
-
3-Course Method: Embeds into wet coating, similar to reinforcing a drywall seam.
Instructions
- Cut the Geo-Textile to the required size.
- Apply Liquid Rubber coating to the prepared surface.
- Embed the Geo-Textile into the wet Liquid Rubber coating.
- Apply more Liquid Rubber coating over the Geo-Textile to complete the 3-course method.
- Allow the coating system to cure according to the coating instructions.
PRO TIP
Use Geo-Textile anywhere the coating system needs extra reinforcement, especially around seams, joints, vents, skylights, and cracks. Make sure it is fully embedded into wet coating and coated over properly so the fabric becomes part of the waterproofing system.
