Sudden ammonia spikes can stress or even kill your fish - but this fast-acting solution keeps things under control. Microbe-Lift Concentrated Ammonia Remover instantly binds toxic ammonia, making it safe for your aquatic life while your biofilter catches up. It also eliminates chlorine and chloramine, making it perfect for water changes or new setups. Safe, reliable, and essential for reactive pond care.

Why Choose Microbe-Lift Concentrated Ammonia Remover?

  • Detoxifies ammonia instantly by forming an irreversible safe complex
  • Also removes chlorine and chloramine - ideal for tap water and refills
  • Prevents ammonia burn and stress during biofilter disruption or overstocking
  • Can be used safely at startup, during water changes, or for evaporation top-offs
  • Supports fish health during filter recovery without harming beneficial bacteria
  • Safe for all ornamental pond fish and aquatic life

Cautions

  • Do not use with permanganate- or chlorite-based treatments
  • Use only salicylate-based total ammonia test kits (Nessler’s gives false readings)
  • Avoid Winkler DO tests; use DO meters or indigo-carmine tests instead
  • Not a medication; not intended for use with food fish as a veterinary drug

  • Function: Binds free ammonia and neutralizes chlorine/chloramine
  • Use Cases: New pond setup, water changes, filter stress, overstocking
  • Dosage: 1 oz treats 360 gal and removes 1.25 ppm ammonia
  • Compatibility: Safe with all pond fish and invertebrates
  • Testing Note: For accurate readings, use indole-phenol-based kits
  • Sizes Available: 16 oz (treats 5,760 gal), 32 oz (11,520 gal), 1 gal (46,080 gal)
