We recommend using your pump's Smart Control Receiver to connect to the Aquascape Smart Control App in order to take advantage of the variety of control options the app has to offer. However, some customers prefer to control their pumps without the use of the Aquascape Smart Control App. In addition to the on-board flow and power controls on your receiver, this optional remote allows you to turn your pump on and off and control the flow using the remote up to 150 feet away. The remote also includes a handy mounting holster for convenient storage.
