Microbe-Lift PL Gel is a smart way to boost biological filtration exactly where it matters - right on your filter media. This thick gel contains the same beneficial bacteria found in Microbe-Lift PL, but in a form that clings to pads, balls, and other surfaces. It’s easy to apply and stays put, even on vertical media. Whether you're starting up a new system or cleaning/replacing filter components, PL Gel helps speed up the colonization process, reduces instability, and shortens recovery time after maintenance.

Why Choose Microbe-Lift PL Gel?

  • Applies directly to filter media - no waste or runoff
  • Stays in place to rapidly establish bacterial colonies
  • Speeds up biological filter start-up by up to 80%
  • Reduces instability after media cleaning or replacement
  • Helps break down organic solids and supports denitrification
  • Great for foam, floss, ceramic, bio-balls, and more

How to Use

  • Turn off filter system before application
  • Apply directly onto clean filter media using the squeeze bottle
  • Allow to sit for 1-2 hours before restarting the system
  • Repeat after media changes or system cleanouts

Cautions

  • Store in a cool location - do not freeze
  • Do not use with chemical treatments at the same time
  • Keep out of reach of children

  • Type: Gel-based bacterial inoculant
  • Main Function: Rapid biofilter seeding and post-cleaning recovery
