Surface Preparation & Application

• Surface Inspection: Concrete, plaster, or fiberglass must be structurally sound. Hollow, weak, or crumbling areas should be repaired before coating.
• Cleaning: Remove loose paint, dirt, oils, and contaminants. Proper cleaning is critical to coating performance.
• Abrasion: Previously painted epoxy or smooth surfaces must be sanded to create proper mechanical adhesion.
• Condensation Test: After cleaning, allow the surface to dry fully and confirm no moisture is present before painting.
• Mixing: Mechanically pre-mix Part A and Part B separately, then combine in a 3:1 ratio by volume and mix thoroughly. Allow appropriate induction time before application.
• Application: Apply two coats at recommended coverage rates, allowing proper recoat windows between coats.
• Curing: Allow sufficient cure time before filling the pool, based on whether the pool is indoor or outdoor.
