Surface Preparation & Application

• Inspect Surface: Ensure concrete, plaster, or fiberglass is sound and free of weak or crumbling areas. Repair with hydraulic cement or appropriate filler.
• Clean Thoroughly: Use Ramuc Clean and Prep Solution to remove contaminants and open surface pores.
• Abrade as Needed: Sand existing epoxy or fiberglass surfaces with 60–80 grit to promote adhesion.
• Perform Condensation Test: Ensure surface is completely dry before painting by taping 2'x2' plastic sheets and checking for moisture after 4 hours.
• Mix Properly: Mechanically mix each component separately, then combine in a 1:1 ratio and mix thoroughly. Allow to stand for 20–45 minutes before application (induction time).
• Apply Two Coats: Use a 3/8” mohair or lambskin roller. Wait 16–72 hours between coats. Sand if recoating beyond 72 hours.
• Control Environment: Apply only in dry weather with surface and air temps above 50°F. Avoid rain during curing.

Not Recommended For

• Use on uncured plaster or concrete (must be at least 28 days old)
• Painting when rain or high humidity is expected
• Use with silicone-based repair products or unprepared smooth fiberglass
• Full-pool use of dark colors—recommended for accent only
